What You Need to Know

• All of UC Santa Cruz’s temp staffing needs are provided by Spherion Staffing
• We receive the best pricing, negotiated through a UCOP strategic sourcing agreement
• Invoicing is direct from Spherion to customers through the Cardless Account process
• Campus customers work directly with Spherion Staffing – no middle man
• Online processes are easy to use and easy to track

What You Need to Do

1. Request a UC Santa Cruz Cardless Account for paying for temp services. See How to Obtain a Cardless Account.
2. Review the process designed specifically for users of Spherion's Temp Staffing services. The Cardless Account Reference explains what you need to know.
3. Use the Spherion Online Exchange system to request a temp online. As a new user, you will be prompted to set up a user name and password.
4. Spherion uses the online Enterprise Time Capture system (ETC) for time tracking. Access is granted to campus customers when the temp’s assignment begins.
